Thiis hotel is spread over two properties, and the setting is attractive, with a stream, trees, and places to sit outside. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for a one night stay while travelling.
When we arrived, the office was unstaffed, and unlike for other guests, our name was not listed on the door with room number and key. We looked for help at the second property and at the nearby restaurant before we located someone to check us in, and while pleasant enough, he did not apologize for the uncertainty and inconvenience.

The facility is an old-style New England tourist court located along a lovely wooded creek. The wood-paneled rooms are attractive.
We liked everything about our stay. We had minimal contact with the staff. Nobody was in the office when we arrived in late afternoon. The office was locked and a note on the door said only that they would “be back in a while”. I quickly noticed a little rack on the door containing an envelope with our name on it. The envelope contained our room key and the registration paperwork for us to sign. It’s a refreshingly old-fashioned way to operate.

The bed was comfortable for me, but too soft for my husband.
The room was unlocked when we arrived, the step up to the porch broke when I stepped on it. The room smelled musty the toilet was so small and low… like you see in a daycare!
It was very poorly lit and a bit creepy! You had to leave the curtains open if you wanted to turn on the AC.
