Staff was great! Very helpful and friendly. I appreciated that they restocked breakfast around 10am. Pool was decent. Saw staff picking weeds in the front area on their hands and knees. That shows me they care about small things that most people overlook. There was a wonky luggage cart that's wheels weren't working too well and it was the only one left so they brought it up themselves and even came back to our room to wheel it down to our vehicle 15 mins later. Staff greeted us every time we came in the hotel and Everytime we left wished us a good day.
I feel pricing is up there for the area and could have been less expensive.

The hotel's proximity to Hershey Park is great, it took about 15 minutes to drive to the park each day. There was free breakfast which was awesome with little children.
On the weekend days, most of the time at breakfast was spent waiting for them to bring out more food little by little while everything was empty. Also, the trash would be overflowing and nobody was checking on it so my mother was compelled to remove the bag from the can so people could fit additional trash into the bag.
The pool was closed and looked like a scene from a horror film it was so disgusting and clearly has not been in service for quite some time.
We had an issue where we needed the bedding to be replaced on one of our beds. I made the front desk aware of the situation while we were at breakfast that morning and let them know we'd be heading to the park for the day, so there would be no rush. I placed the soiled bedding outside our door and it was picked up prior to us even leaving for the day. When we returned, the bed was still stripped so I went down to ask for sheets and blankets and I was handed a couple sheets and told they didn't have any blankets at the moment they were in the housekeeping area. After some time, another member of our party went to ask and was again handed sheets and told there wasn't a blanket available. I went down to the desk AGAIN to request a blanket be taken from an empty room or if we could have a different sized blanket because we have a toddler and preschooler who need a blanket. I was told it wasn't laundry day and there weren't any available.
Additionally, I had prepaid for the hotel prior to arriving yet the property continually tried to charge my card for the full amount so many times that my credit card flagged it for fraud.
