The architecture and history of the hotel were the primary reasons for my desire to stay there. The hotel was beautiful, located in a great area, and the staff was friendly. Our small balcony overlooked the courtyard, and the overall ambiance was very comfortable. I’m grateful for the stay and hope to return soon.
Our room had either a gas smell or perhaps the building’s plumbing had a smell. I’m not sure which it was, but it wasn’t uncomfortable enough to notify the staff or change rooms.

Historic hotel with great architecture. The rooms could use some TLC while keeping the history. Bathrooms weren’t cleaned well. Strange smells in our first room.
Rooms on ground floor are VERY loud ALL night on the weekends. Our window was next to an intersection and people were outside of our window all night.

Great location downtown, walking distance to Petco and restaurants, super clean, and nice historic charm.
Valet parking is very expensive. Use SpotHero for a garage about a block away at a fraction of the price.
