We stayed 3 nights in the Garden Suite, located in the main house. A beautiful 1930s property full.of character and comfort. The suite was comfortable and spacious, with a roomy bathroom with separate shower and bath. Lovely established gardens and grounds, including a hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful, with regular communication, making check in amd check out easy. Easy to find, adjacent to Volcano National Park. Was a great base to drive right round the island over our few days in the Big Island. We had a fantastic experience! Mahalo 🙏

We wanted something close to the volcano national park, and this was. The manager was very helpful and have us some ideas regarding eating establishments and the national park, that was very helpful.

The location was amazing right off volcano nat park and the cottage was historic and interesting
Many things-way overpriced, misrepresented as fire places are all always inoperative, many small misses in cottage I realized after the staff were gone and no where to be found or reached to get coffee filters, towels at jacuzzi absent, jacuzzi way overchlorinated and icky water, and just not worth the price except for location which was amazing. Fireplace should really not be listed as an amenity.
