The bed was comfy. The staff were welcoming. The courtyard looked nice. (We didn't utilize it because of the outside temp being so warm.)
It was not too far off the interstate, so the drive wasn't bad going back and forth to the hospital where my father was The taxes and fees were lower here than closer in town to the hospital, so we were able to stay at a nicer hotel for the same price as a not so nice hotel further in town.
We expected a sit-down continental breakfast, and that is part of the reason I choose this hotel. Instead, we got a grab and go bag of drinks and snacks.... not my preference for breakfast.

The pool was great and the grounds were cute liked the size of the room
The ac wasn't good at all the room never cooled off enough to get comfortable or to sleep very well
