Cypress bend resort

The hotel is clean. The state park is close by and it is nice.

The pillows were flat and they had no extra pillows. The pool needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast buffet was $12 and they ran out of eggs. We stayed 2 nights and there was no maid service. Had to ask for more towels on the second day stay. The trash cans were full and I assumed they would empty them when they brought the towels but they didn't.

Pleasant but could’ve been better in the buildings

The staff was very nice. My room was WAY larger than I needed but online showed was all that would be available!

The a/c, heating unit INSIDE the rooms, the building smells old and kinda like mildew, there were spider webs and bugs along with carcasses everywhere. I couldn’t control my thermostat in my first room and had to be moved to another room.

We enjoyed the hotel atmosphere and surrounding grounds.

We did really like the properties home like lobby and quaint lounge/ bar area and we really could have enjoyed our stay, our room was clean, our beds were comfortable, the only BIG ISSUE we had….we DID NOT HAVE HOT WATER IN OUR ROOM. And they were not able to correct the problem before we left. Restaurant operating schedule, availability of menu items and cooks need some improvement.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Absolute worst experience of my life.

I didn’t like a damn thing about this place.

This was the absolute worst excuse for a “resort” that I have ever been to. Not once we’re the rooms cleaned. We couldn’t even get towels for the pool or showers. It was absolutely disgusting in every aspect. The staff was among the rudest I’ve ever seen.

Really Disappointing But An Okay Place To Stay

Things were clean. Room and bed were comfortable. The grounds were nice. Staff were nice and helpful. The pool was nice, and there are plenty of rockers to enjoy the view outside.

The facility has seen better days. Carpet in the rooms is bad, very worn, and should have been replaced years ago. I could barely see the view from my room as the glass was too etched to see easily out of. The carpet in the elevator is disgustingly filthy. The breakfast served was really bad, though I heard dinner is better. I thought Wyndham meant "really nice." The resort has not been kept up well. It was such a disappointment, but once you get around that, it was a comfortable place to stay.

Over priced and hotel is very out dated.

Breakfast was over priced and service was very very slow.

Golf Course was closed, no driving range or pro shop. The hotel was very out dated and nasty. This place needs a face lift. We went there for a gender revile it was very disappointing for the money.

loud next door neighbors - we asked to be moved to another room. Showers barely drain. Older needs updated for the price we paid!!!

Overall nice stay. Would stay again.

Breakfast was good. It was a little pricey considering most hotels provide complimentary breakfast. Room was clean and the antique furniture around the resort was beautiful.

Only 2 pillows per bed and they were not what you would expect at a resort. Pretty flat.

Inside the room was very clean!

The front desk people was unorganized! They couldn’t print paperwork because they had no printer. A front desk attendant gave someone my room key and they come in while I was in the shower! When I called and ask how did this happen she just said she apologize! They deactivated my room keys but gave them to a stranger. Millions of mosquitoes inside door by the elevator!

Hire a real management team or continue to suffer the same problems.

Location is great.

It seems like the property is in the middle of a transformation, but still at the early stages. The AC unit in my room was shimmed up with wooden blocks and no effort as made to dress that up. The elevator floor was filthy. The bar was extremely understaffed, untrained and poorly stocked for an event weekend. The manager(?) was incapable of providing any assistance. The breakfast was not worth the price. While checking out the front desk supervisor was training a new employee, which made the process last way longer than it should have. There must have been 5 trips back and forth to the printer 20 feet away. Hint: buy another printer and put it within reach of the employees using it.

Couldn’t of picked a more peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

How nice the suites were, how beautiful the land scraping was, the dining & bar area were very nice. Everything even smelled good. The pool was beautiful. I don’t have any complaints. My husband and I came for our little honey moon & we will def be back to stay longer!!

Stars at night ! Tremendous Lake viewing!!

Excellent hotel!! Pool hot tub spa super clear and clean !! Restaurant 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Located in lobby as well as the bar Food was exceptional!!! Breakfast buffet not so much …. The night sky is Loaded with Stars super scenic area close to grocery and boat launch!!! Really amazing in so many respects !!! Enjoy!! I really love that you don’t have to leave everything is right there walking trails, golf karting fishing drinking eating everything‘s right there pool lake swimming!!! Bring your kayak!!!

Breakfast Buffet fell way short for such a great restaurant they just need to step up to quality on breakfast buffet($12) ditch the frozen box food (biscuits, ham, sausage, potato hb, pastries) just pitiful quality bacon was fresh and grits were good …. Eggs … 👀not sure what the mgt. was thinking cuz the try of yellow stuff they said was eggs …. NOT EGGS out the shell… maybe cartoon or something…idk I tried to table doctor um up but no helping them eggs …. I can eat most anything that is digestive conducive…. This weren’t…. Do something bout the buffet like discontinue ASAP

This facility needs to do better hire more help

The breakfast was expensive for the amount of food they had on the buffet. We asked for towels that morning front desk said she would get some to us I ended up having to call they didn’t have any clean, my room had toenails on the floor by the bed, the coffee machine was dirty. We had to go to another facility and wash. I will not be returning

There is no places to really eat near by and they don’t start serving until 5pm those hours need to change

nothing— this property NEEDS immediate attention. it gets worse every year

disgusting building maintenance. I’ve never left a bad review. stayed here for 9 years. each year I keep thinking they will make repairs! it’s worse than ever!
