Budget Inn Top of Ellijay

Quiet and felt safe.

Awkward entrance.

The rooms were clean and newly renovated. It was very close to downtown and 15 minutes from Blue Ridge.

1st day had to ask for washcloths, 2nd day had to ask for toilet paper. Also there were no kleenex in the room and it was very noisy. The room door was a little questionable.

It sits on top of a hill and see the renovated train depot. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Nothing.

Close to downtown

We booked a room with 4 double beds. When we got there we were told we did not book a 4 bed room, only a two. I told them that I had verification on my phone, but they didn't care. The check in attendant was rude and affected by our situation. They said only a 2 double bed room was a available and that we would not receive any discount or refund for the inconvenience or lack of honesty. So we had to squeeze 4 people on 2 small double beds. The hotel is old and the rooms are worn. We had no other option though, because the town was booked up for the apple festival. Find a better stay for your family if at all possible.
