Baxter Park Inn

Great Location close to Baxter State park. Staff was very friendly and provided helpful. And we loved the resident cats!

We enjoyed the location as it was close to Baxter State Park and there are a few restaurants around to grab a bite. The staff was lovely and we loved the cats too. It was very clean and easy check in and out.

Everything was good.

Great location near Baxter State Park, where we had great hiking and saw moose! This is one of the nicest "mom and pop" type of hotel at which we've ever stayed. The rooms were clean and well maintained, with nice bathroom fixtures and fresh paint. The breakfast was a bit bare bones, with no hot food, but that is not our main concern when looking for a place to stay. There was a grocery store right down the street where we bought food and fixed it in the microwave in our room. The owners apparently live right above the hotel and were very friendly and accessible. We also loved the five resident rescue cats!

Friendly employees.

No vents in the bathrooms. Our bathroom was designed like an add-on box. We had to open a hallway door to vent it out after each use. Old bad ordor inside (probably mold inside the foam ceiling) that gets worse when hot steam from shower fills the "box." Bathrooms need vents.
