Sandstone Creek Club Condominiums

We have stayed in this complex dozens and dozens of times and several times in this club unit, which is owned by the club not by a timeshare owner. It’s a little on the small side perfect for two people. It’s an incredible value if you can find it available. Always extremely clean and the sofa was very comfortable and seem new.

We’ve had this unit a few times before. It seemed like maybe no one had been in it for a while. The toaster didn’t work. They really exchanged it. We had a couple of days where whatever type of connection they have for Netflix and any streaming services didn’t work. They fixed it the next day. In pantry had one day we did not have Internet cable or streaming. It all got fixed. Be aware there’s no air conditioner so since we were 10° over average, we had to keep the windows open and at time to run the fan that’s provided. Be aware there’s no ventilation to the loft, it gets very warm up there and generally, I don’t see anybody during the summer can stay up there, and the beds, the two twin beds, have atrocious mattresses. I assume they’re the same mattresses that replaced when the unit opened 40 years ago. The mattress is really atrocious. They’re OK for small kids but not teenagers or adult adults. I presume they just don’t have a way to get new ones up there as they’re not gonna go through the spiral staircase and there’s no window that opens to get them up there. Have you said all this, it’s a great unit at a great price and a great complex that we’ve been to many many many times. My kids grew up there a week at a time in the summer. The pool area is terrific, but it hasn’t changed in 35 years.

Cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness and amenities were beyond expectations.

None that I could think of.

Staff were knowledgeable and nice. The location is generally quiet. Not too crowded.

The condo was not very clean. The floor had not been mopped and was visibly dirty. Perhaps it was in the description, but it lacks air conditioning.
