Our stay at the Lightner Farmhouse B&B was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled just outside Gettysburg, this historic gem offered the perfect blend of serenity, charm, and heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends by Steve and Teresa, whose warmth and knowledge of the area added depth to every conversation.
The farmhouse itself is steeped in Civil War history, and you can feel its spirit in every lovingly preserved detail. Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed, with garden views that made mornings feel like poetry in motion.
Breakfasts were a highlight—homemade, beautifully presented, and tailored to dietary needs with care. Whether it was fresh fruit, gluten-free options, or a decadent French toast casserole, each meal felt like a celebration of comfort and connection.
If you’re seeking a place that nourishes both body and spirit, Lightner Farmhouse is it. It’s not just a stay—it’s a heartfelt experience.
