The location of the hotel was amazing, super close to the highway, the Grand Theatre, and Heritage Museum! Their pool was above average and very fun, better than a simple square in the floor. Room was comfy, staff and food were pretty good.
There were some loose tiles in our room's bathroom, and it looked like the paint on the bathroom mirror was peeling. There was also chlorine caked on the side of the pool and a little bit of what looked like mold/algae outside of the pool.

412 Room good beds & linens. Remote ez to use. Gym small but had what we needed for cardio and resistance training. Breakfast: lots of fatty choices - I settled for Hardboiled eggs and dry raisin bran.
Room 412 - pillows too thick and hard & sink & tub didn't drain well. Gym small but had what we needed for cardio and resistance training. Breakfast lacking. Only hot items were either full of fat or sugar (omelette with cheese pre-added, sausage, dry french toast & potatoes). I settled for Hardboiled eggs and dry raisin bran. OJ was horrible. Milk not labeled so likely whole - aka very fatty. At least they had low-fat yogurt with lots of added sugar. The only fresh fruit was the low-class red delicious . Ugh. La Quinta should have options for healthy people. 1% milk should be in the fridge. Cheese should be an optional addition.

The motel looks worn and well used. The carpet felt dirty. Didn’t want to walk on it without shoes on.
