The hotel was really nice (especially for the price) and in a great location off of 95. My room was spacious, modern, and clean with a great shower and the most comfortable bed. I was so impressed by their gym! Most hotel gyms are underwhelming, but this one was not. There were two separate rooms, one with cardio and one with weights. I was excited that they had an actual Pelaton! I happened to have my clip-in shoes so I had a great workout on the bike and with the weights. The breakfast was wonderful and they had several options to appease most palates. The attendant and the lady I presume prepared the breakfast was so lovely. She made sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. I'm glad she had a tip jar, because she deserved it. She went above and beyond.
The only downside of my stay was the person working the front desk. He was friendly when I first checked in. I went to my room and didn't see him again until I woke up around 5am to grab my shoes for the Pelaton. He stopped me and commented on our similar ages. He was friendly, and now that I look back he was too friendly. He asked if I wanted coffee and I said yes. I realize now that was just a ploy to get me to stay in the lobby longer. We were chatting and everything was fine until I mentioned something about my significant other (I should mention I was traveling solo). He almost immediately darted off, and honestly I didn't think too much of it. I figured he had work to get to. When I came down for breakfast and then later to check out, he was super rude and unprofessional toward me. It was the level of immaturity I would expect of someone half his age and definitely not someone in the hospitality business.
