I wanted to stay in a Motel for a while and this was my first visit to DC so I booked this Cool Motel and I found it really enjoyable. The balcony was nice and the AC was a massive unit. The size of a Coffin! Made the room cold promptly. The location was fine with a free bus to the local station which was a 20 min journey to 'downtown'. I would stay again. Local amenaties included a Seven11, Burger King and a vintage book store.

easy to get to close to things to do and places to eat
The grounds could have been kept cleaner. there was a dirty mask and trash on the walkway outside our room from the time we checked in to the time we left. All the maids going room to room and no one cleaned up the floor. There was some trash still left on floor in our room from previous guest. There was an ice bucket in the room but no ice machine that we could find.
