Breakfast was good, except for the coffee.
The coffee was horrible. The 'coffee' extract and hot water did not even taste like coffee. We had to go into Le Claire to get some coffee. Also, the room walls had large patches of missing paint and the stairwell smelled of very old plastic.

The staff and the breakfast. Nice room and bed but our room smelled like stale smoke. We got in late and the staff was very accommodating. We had friends with us with handicaps and they got a room close by that was accommodating to them.
The stale smoke smell upon entering our room. We were so late and tired we didn’t say anything we just went to bed because we didn’t want to deal with any change of room.

Good location
The lobby is beautiful but we had a first floor room that was dingy and not the cleanest. We food straws and food wrappers between the night stand and beds, dirt all over the curtains/blinds, had a “old” smell to it, wallpaper was peeling etc
