Meet expectations

Pull out springs were broken so was unable to use as bed room201

Breakfast was good. Room was pretty clean when we got there. I always do an extra cleaning and wipe down, and the room was actually pretty clean already. Convenient location right next to the freeway with lots of food places close by. Had cold ice water and tea in the lobby all hours of the day. I especially liked the tea.

We did have a slight issue at the beginning of our stay, but was 'corrected' and the rest of our stay was fine. We stayed for eight days at Comfort Suites because my daughter had surgery in Salina and we stayed a week afterwards for a post op appt since we live in TX. When I checked in, I specifically asked for no housekeeping and for no one to enter my room. I did not want anyone entering our room to help reduce germs, etc. At check-in, my request was taken and I was told just put the do not disturb sign on the our door. We got to our room, I didnt notice until that evening we didnt have a sign so I planned on asking for one the next day. The next day, after an AM errand, we came back to our room and were relaxing in bed. Yes, I forgot to lock the lock and put on the door latch and hadnt got the do not disturb sign yet. My fault. While we were laying there, we heard our door open and then shut. I jumped and was like WTF, ran to the door, and the employee had already ran down the hall pretty much. I raised my voice and said 'do you need something', no acknowledgement. So I said, HELLO. No acknowledgement. Figured maybe she didnt speak English, so I said Hola. Employee finally said "sorry, thought the room was clean'. (Spoke English just fine, was a caucasian woman.) So I reminded her that I asked for no one to come into my room. She said sorry. My concern though, why would an employee enter a room without knocking or even saying 'housekeeping' or anything, literally just walked in. My other concern was that on the mirror in the restroom, a sign even says 'Room service only offered upon request. Extended stays, room service is on 3rd day'. It was our first day there.... so why were they trying to come in my room. Made me VERY suspicious. The more I thought about. I was pissed. About an hour passed and I went down stairs to talk to management.

The location right off the interstate. Rooms are spacious.

Little out dated. The TV in the room was tiny. No water pressure in the shower. They ran out of oj and apple juice at breakfast( where just in half gallon jugs)

Friendly staff

My room in 101 had absolutely no heat, and it got down to 32° so the bedroom was freezing all night!
