The breakfast was good with a lot of choices

The breakfast was top notch. There was a large selection. The coffee was great! The location was convenient. It was close enough to Wichita to go grab a late meal. When we checked in it was after 10 pm and the staff was so kind and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable
I stayed here while traveling with my dog. At check-in I signed the pet policy stating pets could not be left unattended in guest rooms, which I was happy to follow. The next morning I brought my leashed dog with me while I briefly attempted to pick up the complimentary breakfast to take back to my room, since I was traveling alone and could not leave him unattended. I was then informed that dogs are not permitted in the breakfast area. I understand that policy, but together these rules leave solo travelers with no practical way to access the breakfast that's included with the room. A grab-and-go option or clearer guidance would have been appreciated.
I was also disappointed by the way the situation was handled. Rather than simply explaining the policy and offering an alternative, I received repeated comments after I had already turned to leave. There were also remarks about my dog's head collar, which was mistaken for a muzzle. My dog is trained, he remained calm, leashed, and under control throughout our stay. I hope the hotel will consider both clarifying its pet policies and encouraging staff to address these situations in a more professional and respectful manner.
