Clean Hotel but uncomfortable.

Hotel was decorated nicely. And clean.

Bed were horribly uncomfortable. And little things needed to be fixed

location & staff

we got a room & the bed frame was sticking out. I didn’t notice it and cut my ankle. told front desk they switched us rooms. showers are very slick for the elderly as well.

Staff was great, but I would not stay here again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and have to deal with a lot of disgruntled customers, I’m sure. I overheard one phone conversation and the young man that works the front desk remained so calm and professional, while the woman on the phone was just awful to him.

The rooms need to be gutted and redone. The ACs do not work properly, so no fresh air is able to enter the room, the windows are nailed shut. The room was stale, musty smelling, and everything was damp: carpet, linoleum, bedding, etc. The bathroom walls and ceiling looked like it was all pealing away from even older walls and ceilings.

Very good

The front desk was excellent (Henry?), the room was great and perfect for the night.

Bar wasn't open so we had to go elsewhere for drinks even tho they offer a couple at the front desk. They should open the bar back up especially during a Friday

Nice hotel- need microwaves in the rooms.

Nice sized rooms- clean. Bathroom is very nice- huge shower. Location is good- Stockyards restaurant right across the street. Kwik Trip right down the street.

Rooms need a microwave.

The hotel was mediocre. It did meet our needs but we will not stay there again.

Candy bowl on the counter.

We were told at check in that we had to request housekeeping 24 hours in advance. Since it was 6:30 pm we thought we could not get room service the next day. It did come late in the afternoon while we were napping. It then came every day after as requested. Getting your room cleaned should've been a given. The maid was very sweet. She did not take the tip we left until we handed it to her or left a note that it was for her.

Very poor

I liked the fact that i only booked for 3 nights and then it was time to leave.

The staff was rude and made up hotel policies that weren't there when we checked in. I've never been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel in my life. If you want trashy stay here. Not worth your money at all.

This was a great value within a short drive of downtown, and a I would stay here again.

Very comfortable beds, and we loved the handsome room decorated with a nod to South St Paul’s historic stock yards. Great access to downtown St. Paul and local parks for hiking and biking.

The neighborhood is industrial and not very walkable, so we wish the restaurant had been open (but also fully understand that the service industry has been hit hard by the pandemic). But with a car, it’s an easy drive to lots of great places.
