My visit to the town was great even though it rained however will not return to the Rodeway in.

The pool and hot tub was nice

The cleanliness was unacceptable from the hairs in the bathroom all over that did not belong to us. The vending machine had bottled water, that was half empty. The walls had tape on them holding what I would assume was wallpaper up. Our TV did not work, the kid at the desk was rude and offered no suggestion on how to fix it just said "its broke"

It is worth value.

room size and linen was clean and nicely done. Outside deck had chairs.

Shower had some issues. Tv didn't work for most of the time.

My stay was affordable, comfortable and hassle-free. Perfect.

Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Location was excellent, just a bit away from town and quiet.

Breakfast was sparce, but appropriate to the price level.

Adequate to needs. Nothing else.

Everything was in pretty shabby condition with a sense of not being very clean. The so-called continental breakfast was just a joke it was non-existent. The person on staff when we arrived that night was a great guy, I think it was the owner in the morning and he was more surly and I didn't think he was friendly.

It was just adequate, which based on the reviews was surprising. It was given quite a high rating and so I did expect it to be in better condition with a higher state of cleanliness. There were carpets throughout in the hallways and stuff and they just seemed kind of grubby

we just came here to sleep so our stay was fine, but wouldn’t pay $135 for that quality again

location was great, staff was great!

it was a bit old and not super clean for a $135 price. no parking.

Utilitarian lodging in Lake Placid.

Affordable, clean rooms with plenty of space for winter gear and luggage. Easy to control in-wall heater was great for drying out wet gloves and jackets after a day in the mountains.

The shower was a little cramped if taller than 6' but still useable. Hard to complain given the price of the rooms. Also couldn't find a place to get hot water to make tea after hours - breakfast room seemed locked.

place got the job done at a budget

location and bus stops right in front. unlimited cans of orange juice.

breakfast area could be nicer decorated and could have another protein like boiled eggs or something.

Good value but could use Reno and more variety breakfast

Nice to have pool and hot tub.

Breakfast was meager and the pancake machine was out of order. No condiments like peanut butter, jam or yogurt included in breakfast. Hotel is tired and could use a refresh.

The bed was comfortable

No comforter on beds (very thin blanket), room smelled extremely musty, rust/mold (?) in bathroom

The hot tub and pool, location, and reception staff were all excellent

The mattress that had not been changed in decades and the minimalistic and unhealthy "breakfast"
