Comfort Inn West Hazleton

Was assigned a room; when we arrived my son needed to shower bc he had a soccer game earlier in the day, so writhing the 1st 30mins of being there we discovered the tub was not draining when he was showering n after the water stayed. I contacted front desk, they were great…put in a maintenance ticket right away. Left for dinner and came back n checked in at the desk, staff said Maintenance did check and there was an issue however they had already blocked off another room for us to move to. Much better. Remodeling is going on and the place is really looking nice. Once they get their tweaks out, will be very nice. We will be staying there again when we go up to visit our older son for soccer games at the college.

Property is under construction, drain in tub was good in 1st room but we were moved and they were made aware of the issue and working on fixing.

Our room was very clean and everything was in the working condition. The furniture and light fixture were thoughtfully provided. The selections for the free breakfast were excellent and beyond our expectation in the nice cafe space inside of this hotel. There is plenty of free parking space (you don't need a reservation as Booking.com's confirmation stated). The location is very close to the I-81 exit near the State College Campus and there are many casual restaurants nearby. Although it's located off the divided road, two entrances helped us to avoid a U-turn.

I cannot think of anything negative about this place.
