Overall, we enjoyed out stay. The rooms were clean and the microwave and refrigerator worked well until they didn't due to no electricity. We loved the smart mirrors. :} The staff was friendly.
Very limited channels on TV and we had a lot of problems connecting to the hotel's WIFI. There was no ice which we needed each day. I am on a very strict diet and I wished there had been scrambled eggs as an option for breakfast so I could have eaten. During out stay, the hotel lost power the second night. I know that this was an act of God and was not the hotel's fault. However, i am shocked that they did not have a backup generator! I have been to hotels in the past that have lost power, but every one of them had backup generators so their guests' stays would not be effected. I have family that lives in that area and I know my parent's loose power frequently so I would think the hotel would be better prepared for this situation. We were without power from early evening until about 2 am. In addition, we had no water so we could not use the toilet. We had food with us because of my limited diet and it all had to be thrown out including expensive seafood. The hotel did give us a partial refund and that was truly appreciated.
