Good for an overnight stay

The staff is always friendly whenever we stay on our travels north. The renovations are a definite improvement. The breakfast is well stocked and perfect for our needs.

Unfortunately, the room refrigerator wasn’t working to capacity. We ended up having to throw away the perishable food we had. The other problem was the air conditioning unit. It would kick on with a loud, grinding noise that continued until it was dialed back. Was not conducive to a good night’s sleep.

Overall a very good stay. We will come back. Hoping to have a first floor location and a quiet HVA

Hostess was very friendly in the breakfast area.

Understand facility has been under renovation therefore was not able to grant our request for the first floor room. The furnace for room 220 made a loud rattlling (vibration) noise when it would first come on in the heating mode, eventually it would quiet down when it as just the fan running. Stairs from the ground floor to the second floor need railings for safety.

A good hotel to stay at near Staunton.

The hotel is on a main road so it is easy to find but there is no noise from the road once you are in the hotel. Ample parking. Friendly staff. A good hotel to stay at while visiting the area. I would stay again.

There is only a small area for the basic buffet breakfast and only a few tables and seats available, which meant it became overcrowded at peak time.

Best compliment I can offer -- we plan to stay there again next August!

We have stayed at this Sleep Inn every August for the last 6-7 years. We attend a weekend event just outside Staunton, VA, and this hotel has become our "go to". It's not spectacular, e.g., no pool or hot tub, but it is clean, has a courteous staff, a good breakfast. Very functional and comfortable.

My only complaint -- there were no vegetarian friendly breakfast biscuits, i.e., all breakfast biscuits had meat on them. That is a MINOR complaint. There were waffles, boiled eggs, bagels and cream cheese, etc,; so, I had no problem finding nourishment.

Perfect for a one night stop on a long road trip!

Clean, friendly staff and beds were SO COMFY

Shower head was behind the shower door so it was hard to test the water temperature without getting completely in

Stand alone shower, didn’t have to step over tub.

It was a nice hotel with great staff, but the price for a room was high

The staff was excellent. Lobby with plenty of free coffee

There are no outlets to plug in your phone charger without the plug adapter. No ice machines except on first floor

This is an awesome hotel - lots of extra special touches

The staff was extremely friendly when we arrived. We were traveling with a dog. She gave Jan a dog treat and toy which was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. The little extras like coffee and food in the lobby was extremely nice. We had four pillows which was great for comfort. This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a long time.

There was nothing we did not like. It was a perfect place to stay, clean, and convenient with lots of unexpected extras which made the stay even better.

Location was good for us. Right off the interstate. Good coffee in the lobby available 24/7 plus coffee in room as well. Comfortable beds. Shower was great. Would stay again.

A good motel and a fairly good price.

The room was clean, the TV and shower worked, the bed was comfortable. The coffee was good. I did not try the breakfast

lovely staff, good location, comfort!

clean, comfortable, good king bed. location, easy to find, close to places we visited.

it may have been my error in choosing the room, but we were in a handicap room. no problem though.
