Room was fine. Easy check-in. Good grab and go muffins. Grounds and lobby well maintained.
Hot tub closed permanently. Shilo advertises "affordable excellence". I'd rephrase that as "overpriced mediocrity". No restaurant. Couch smelled of smoke (supposed to be a non-smoking room). Not worth the price. Lots of homemade signs about dogs, cats and what not to do...kind of tacky.

The staff was very courteous and professional. The room was nice and our dog was welcome. They had a nice complimentary continental breakfast.

The outside smelled from all the dairies, but this is Tillamook! Other places have installed soap dispensers in lieu of little bottles.

The hot tub was not working this was not stated in advance, the pool was freezing cold and would have been nice to have been able to access online apps on the TV

I liked the little kitchenette counter with the microwave and refrigerator. I appreciated the extra blankets because there was no power and it was cold.
I didn't like that there was no power. I was given no kind of discount for sleeping in a cold room without electricity. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. I was also unhappy that the pool was unusable.

I liked that the rooms were spacious and comfortable
I didn’t like that the stuff lied to us and told us the pool was in order when we checked in and then literally five minutes later we found out that it was out of order. We would not have stayed if we had known the pool was out of order. She then said that they could not refund us because we’d already checked in. I’ll never visit again.

These motels use to be top notch back in the day. I was disappointed to see how out dated the rooms were for the price paid.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Good in-room coffee.
We arrived at night and it was very dark getting to our room. The gal at the front desk had warned me of that fact; but it really needed some outdoor path lighting. The iron plate had scorching on it and so I couldn't not use it. It wasn't so important that I called the desk -- I am sure I would have been able to get a new one.

We had a king room that was very spacious , comfortable bed, flat screen TV overall for the price it was great the breakfast was okay they offered juice and water and muffins and cookies and fruit. overall we had a good stay

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and location was great because it is right across the street from restaurant and also a Fred Meyers and a huge Goodwill to go shopping and the hotel and the facilities and the room are very clean I would highly recommend this hotel

you can tell they are working really hard on updates. the outside has had a major facelift and the rooms were a pleasant surprise. the website hasn’t been updated so we were expecting something different.
The television only had a few channels and wasn’t good quality, with no way to watch a movie. after a long day out in the sun we wanted to come back and relax and watch a movie but couldn’t. The grab and go breakfast was definitely lacking.
