Very convenient and quaint

The towels were great, soft. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and a good size.

Since the doors to the room are on the outside, I was able to park directly in front of my first-floor room, which made it very easy to bring my luggage inside. The wifi was very adequate.

I stopped here on my cross-country drive. Since I decided last minute where to stop driving for the day, I booked this stay kind of quickly, without much research, so it's on me that I had no idea the swimming pool and hot tub were in a different building, and that you had to walk across the parking lot in the cold to get to it. After driving all day, I really looked forward to a quiet night's sleep. But around 11:30pm, things got very noisy in the room above me. Since it was New Year's Eve, I assumed that the guests above were just getting ready for the countdown to midnight. I figured they'd quiet down within the hour. But then it got really noisy - lots of walking back and forth, things being dropped on the floor, furniture being slid around. At 2am I finally called the front desk and they said they'd check things out - about 15 minutes later, all that noise stopped. The next day, I heard nothing at all from the room above me, so now I'm wondering if it was housekeeping that made all that noise at such a late hour.
