We received one of the warmest welcomes we’ve ever received at a hotel/motel. We liked pulling right up to our room. It was convenient and near restaurants, yet off of the highway. Generally, safe, clean, and quiet. The room was large also.
The air conditioning unit was loud and didn’t function efficiently. Sometimes very cold and other times didn’t cycle on frequently enough. Ear plugs came in handy for sleeping and the fan that was provided helped circulate the air. The mattresses were initially comfortable, but seem to be showing signs of wear. Beds and bedding were nice and clean though!

Hostess went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Staff was delightful. The bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure. It was nice to have a fridge. We enjoyed eating our picnic dinner at the table beside the lit grassy area. Our stay was comfortable.
My opinion is that the pictures make the motel look nicer than it is. I think the cost should have been about half of what we paid. Perhaps since it was a special holiday in Beaver that night, the cost was indeed doubled. If we'd paid more like $100 for the room, we'd have been very satisfied.
