Staff was great, very accommodating, room was nice , view was great, would definitely recommend.

Great location, nice layout, great view, nice amenities.

Could use some updating, corner shower was a little tight but manageable.

"Brittany was the best out all the whole hotel!!!" Private balcony NO ! 2 doors down lady was smoking and nothing was done!Smoke came right in our room! Also dont like staying where dogs stay! The Hotel needs alot of work, Winter is hard on all the hotels! Beautiful spot but really no privacy on any of the decks! Seagulls all over and they will go into your rooms, so keep your door closed!

Fix the place up its run down! NO PETS! they dirty the rooms and carpets! Breakfast for get it! Its like animals getting food and never ate before! Safe on the Breakfast Fix the place up! Put private walls up on the decks!

Good breakfast, friendly staff, disappointing room

Free breakfast, the view outside the room was beautiful, nice beach area , fire pit, friendly staff

So disappointed with our “lake view” room. I specifically booked a “1 Queen Room with Two Queen Beds with Lake View” so we would be guaranteed a beautiful view when we looked out the window at Lake Huron from our room. We arrived at room 119, and the view out our window is a set of stairs. So disheartening after driving 9 plus hours to get here. I immediately went to the front desk and there were no other rooms available to move too. This room should not be listed and charged as a Lake view room when you can’t even see Lake Huron from the room. $803.00 to view a set of stairs, listen to the people above us walking across the floor (it was probably normal walking for them but it sounded like they were stampeding across the floor), listening to luggage being dragged up and down the steps. The upper lock on our door was missing so we wedged a chair underneath the handle. Would not recommend staying on the bottom floor or in room 119. This room should be made into storage. Checking out, the front desk person even said they get complaints about this room. Yes I notified staff immediately upon check-in and she was able to give us a $15 credit for each night which I appreciated. This side of the hotel should be motel prices, not hotel prices

Very good

The amenities were fabulous-the pool set up, the outdoor fire pit, kids yard games, the view, etc. Everything was perfect for our family on a work trip. The rooms were older but clean. Thank you!

The room were older. It updates have been made. Maybe a few coats of paint.

Great gobs of goose poop

I loved the location. Perfect view of the water.

The beach area was not as clean as I would like. Goose poop everywhere. My kids didn't want to walk around on the beach front area.

It was an alright place to sleep, Noise was the biggest problem.

Nice location right on Lake Huron. Staff was nice and accommodating.The pool area was newly renovated.

Old, renovated hotel which was very noisy. People walking around in the room upstairs kept us awake. Noisy outside the door also on the ground floor.

good place to stay but check around for sure.

good location as far as accessible and breakfast was good.

but a little ways from everything to do and no taxis or Ubers. tv didn’t work right and couldn’t get it fixed. and ac units were not functioning properly either.

Awful place to stay - BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL! Major unaddressed safety concerns.

Literally nothing. I paid $165 for a room and after seeing the conditions of the rooms I did not even stay there. I did not get a refund either. Staff were not helpful and rude.

Extremely dirty, smelly, outdated. The bed was very unsafe as they are on metal a "boxspring" that tops is you sit on the corner or edge of the bed wrong. An elderly person could seriously injure themselves if they stayed here, so beware!! I asked the staff for a refund on the room and they refused since it had not been 48 hours. I expressed my safety concerns for the room and that I could not stay here because it was NOT as advertised online and the manager said "there is nothing we can do. we will not refund you, it's your choice to stay or leave."

I really liked everything except wish we were made aware when booking that family suites were not handicap accessible.

Beautiful View in back of hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No elevator. Family suites on 2nd floor. I had my 14yr old dog with me. He was unable to go up stairs. So had to get a extra room on ground level. Staff was very helpful with my dog. Helped me get him to room and made sure he had a bowl of water while booking another room for me. Even refunded our adult tickets for ferry when we bought different ferry tickets for the kids.

LAKEWATER MAJOR DAMAGE, INSIDE & OUT

The bed was clean and comfortable and the staff accommodating

This facility needs major Building repairs, maintenance & improvements. I won't be back! Railings to my (up & down) LONG stairs were broken & glued back together, sliding door and screen were in Desperate need of replacement. BUT water damage has really destroyed the building. Not sure if anything can be done to fix that problem. It's been left too long in ill repair.

The view and no “bugs”

Basically everything else. Dirty pool and hot tub half painted moss and ants growing out of tiles. No hot water in room. Cobwebs and stains everywhere on the floors ceilings and walls. Spiders and bats as well Bed and pillows were so Uncomfortable I woke up I’m Paine very day of vacation . The breakfast was blueberry muffin toast or waffles everyday for a week. The only reason I stayed was there were no “bugs the sheets were clean and the tub was clean other than I would never stay again!

Room in poor repair, carpet really old, sliding door didn’t lock and rotten, remote for air conditioner didn’t work, hole in bathroom door, lightbulb out, etc.

Beautiful view for the "Lakeview and Balcony" room!! Dog friendly, the pool with the large window over looking the Lake was beautiful, nice little balcony, large room

What was there not to like?! Next trip to St. Ignace I'm coming right back!!!

Stay was fine. Room could have been a little cleaner.

Breakfast was yummy. Nice things to chose from. View was beautiful.

Found bugs in my bed and bathroom was dingy. Bug was in my ice bucket.
