Terrile waste of money and I will never stay here again. I should have been reimbursed my money.

Apparently the boatload of reviews on here or other sites stating that the Breakfast was DELICIOUS or GREAT or ONE OF THE BEST THEYVE HAD was serious spamming. I can tell you this. I am not rich by any means I usually try to stay at not the cheapest hotels but themost affordable for me which is usually 60 to 80 a night type you know. So we went with this hotel even though it was 110 because it appeared to be and reading reviews made me book. People stated there was BACON and the food was very good for a continental breakfast. NOT,

First of all our room we were placed in when we arrived was on the 2nd floor even though there was literally 5 rooms booked in the whole hotel. Our room was obviously a wheelchair room and it had a large plastic seat on the long widewall of the shower. the entire room was very clean BUT the seat was Half black bit dirt and appeared to be mold. Nasty. Then we went to go to use the hot tub as this and the pool were our relaxation points to staying here. Pool area looks nice in pics but up close, yuck. However we couldnt even get into the pool area since the reader was broke, they said "Oh, sorry we have to open it for you when you wanna go in. Then on top of it when i booked 2 weeks ago the hot tub etc was working they said. I always ask. Now the hot tub here was down and the bottom of the pool was all nasty looking and the sides of the pool and hot tub were just dank black the floor and walls in the pool room were nothing to brag about either. Now I had it, i complained and we were upgraded to a hot tub room for free. Oh i was starting to feel better now about my stay. Oh what a mistake that was. I was stoked to sit in a hot tub in private but nope, my home faucet has more water pressure power then those tiny jets. The baby jets were no bigger than the tip of my pinky and there was I think 6 of them. I had more water movement and bubbles via running the tubs faucet. Lastly I woke up at 6am to try this delicious better then other hotel breakfasts, only to walk right back to my room empty handed and empty stomached. NO bacon, Terrible bumpy nasty sausage, half moon shaped omlettes with green peppers, yuck. and that was it, it was the same cereal and golden dipt waffles as anywhere. I went to pour a glass of Orange juice, NO orange juice, it spurted out a touch of yellow orange and then only water streamed out. WTH. For real. Guy at the front desk says, i just make what they tell me and sorry about the juice it wasnt gonna be in on a truck for 2 more days..WTH.

Nice place to stay!

The breakfast looked good. Had a muffin. There was only one there and my husband did not get one even when I went back later. Although I did see a lady take a plate full with her.

The room was quite clean. As I have a bug phobia I do check things out. Do not forget to clean under furniture and in carpet edges. Also the vent in the bathroom needs to be vacuumed! But overall, this was one of the cleanest places I have stayed.

Disappointing

The bath/shower facilities were subpar. Shower curtain didn't close, sink facet didn't work well, a/c was loud and didn't cool the room to my liking.

Questionable Hotel

We liked the location.

Toilets are too low. First room stunk. Housekeeping never dumped the trash or brought fresh towels. Breakfast bar was not kept stocked. Desk clerks were always outside smoking. Mattresses were terrible.

Comforting - good value - bad communication on amenities

We booked it solely for the swimming pool because we had our grandkids only to find out after we checked in the pool was closed.

Overall good, but we will try a different hotel if we return to Appleton.

Beds were comfortable & hotel was quiet.

The entry smelled like animals. There wasn’t a staff member at the desk when we arrived (had to ring a bell for service). Breakfast items were not stocked well. Bathroom floor was not as clean as expected.

Good

Breakfast and location were great. Rooms are large, well kept, and clean.

Unfortunately, there is a chlorine smell throughout the building, noticeable as soon as you enter the lobby. I'm sure this is from the pool which seems to be very well used by patrons. It's just not a pleasant way to be greeted when you first walk in the building.

Great Location - Needs Updates for HVAC and Staff Training

The location was great.

The king whirlpool suite didn't appear to have built-in AC. Staff left a portable AC unit in the room and turned it on without putting the exhaust vent in the window. The room was 90 degrees on check-in, took hours to cool down to acceptable temperature and was still a little too warm for our liking. Staff were friendly, but our original reservation somehow got lost so check-in took a while. Also, the pillows were uncomfortable. Not only going flat, but holding in heat making them nearly impossible use all night. Had to rotate pillows every few hours.

The room

The pool was disgustingly dirty the hot tub didn't work the breakfast was nasty and unedible and there were loud people in the lobby until well after midnight which created a lot of noise that was not needed lots of children running down the hallways it smelled of marijuana our entire stay and I inform the front desk and nobody did anything about it we will not be revisiting this hotel and we had stayed there three times previously when it was the Wingate by Wyndham and had no issues

there was insufficient parking. guests had to make their own parking spots when there weren’t any available which created issues of others being blocked.

Disappointing

The room was very nice

We where in town for a pool tournament and we where looking for something with a pool and hot tub to relax in between. We paid alittle extra for the rooms to stay there so we could use the pool and not tub. Found out the hot tub wasn't working and the pool was filthy. Very disappointed and when talked to staff there was no good answers. That should be told when you book that it's not available we could have looked for something else... you can see in the pictures how filthy it was...

awful breakfast, listed items for breakfast and we kept checking back only had dried out scramble eggs-never replenished, same with other items never replenished (cereals, oatmeal, fruit , etc.)

Pool & Facilities were up to standards. Pool Towels are included at pool. Even though we did not take advantage of the breakfast it smelled great.

The fans in the bathrooms do not appear to work. The Lock on the bathroom door (in the pool) does not work. Some of the switches in our bathroom were loose in the wall.

Nice but too cold

The bed was very comfortable and the mini fridge was a dorm size which was great.

It was very cold the entire stay especially in the bathroom it was freezing.
