Almost everything was great. Wonderful breakfast and grounds and staff.
A/C is too noisy while room was very quiet when it was not running. Room could use light blocking shades. This room had a partially clogged sink and one of the bed lamps was non-operational (checked it with a new bulb).

Good location
We wanted to enjoy the fire pit and a couple of drinks, and a desk person never the fire pit and gates closed at 11; he locked the gate and told us we had to walk around back to our rooms.

While our arrival was smooth and the check-in staff was incredibly hospitable, our actual stay was plagued by maintenance and service failures that do not match this hotel's price category.
Upon entering our room, both the refrigerator and the phone were completely non-functional. We found the fridge unplugged, but once we plugged it in, it began making an awful noise and clearly wasn't working properly. A staff member, Irvin, came up to look at it; he got the phone working, but insisted the noisy refrigerator was fine.
The issues continued the next morning when we woke up to no hot water for our showers. Management apologized, noting they had received multiple complaints from our building and that maintenance was on it. On top of that, the internet-based TV constantly dropped its connection, making it incredibly frustrating to watch anything.
To make matters worse, we returned Saturday evening to find our room hadn't been serviced—no fresh towels, no emptied trash, and no coffee refills. When I went to the front desk, management informed me that housekeeping must be requested in advance. This was never communicated to us. I had to politely ask to fetch my own towels, trash bags, and coffee.
On a positive note, the grounds and outdoor amenities are absolutely beautiful. However, a luxury-priced hotel should not have this many basic maintenance and communication issues. I will think twice before booking here again.
