Location & nostalgia. I’ve stayed at Gaido’s since I was a kid, and I have grandkids now. 😁 I always request a room that looks out at the Gulf, because I love the view, and I love the sea breeze. If I have time to get to the beach during my stay, it’s an easy walk across the street.
Entrance door to the room was hard to open. It may be swollen from the humidity, but it was a nuisance. Also the shampoo dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. I think it may have gotten clogged up somehow.

Everything was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Love the ladies serving. So friendly. Front office staff was great!
We feel allowing the public to enter the pool area is a little concerning. Some of the guest let in are rude and overtake the pool.
