There wasn't a breakfast
Floor in room was dirty. Turned my bare feet brown. Was also slightly sticky. Yuk!

Cheap and convenient, room I stayed in was newer looking and clean
Breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast, just oatmeal and coffee. No pots and pans or paper towels provided. Lack of amenities like washer machines etc. you can hear your neighbors through the walls.

Location extremely convenient. Staff was pleasant and helpful
1. First off, I mistakenly booked the WRONG Fair Oaks ESA! This one wasn't at all easy to find, even with GPS. 2. When I arrived, I found that there were no dedicated spaces for check-in. In the spots that should have been so reserved, there were handicapped and sheriff-reserved spaces (totalling 5, if I remember correctly). 3. Having arrived at my room, I found that the "dead-lock" didn't work--at all. When I notified the front desk, the most accommodating manager came to my room and confirmed its uselessness; but I was told that the card-lock system worked perfectly. 4. The directions for adapting my wifi to the room were equally useless. Again, the manager showed up, eager to help, and did--clicking through several steps to execute the connection. 5. As a smoker, I found it necessary to walk outside often; but not one single seating space existed anywhere on the property.
