The location was very convenient to Joint Base Fort Eustis and Langley and the secondary north - south State Route 17. It was also very easy to reach nearby dining establishments. The bed was large and comfortable with a nice comforter and the shower provided a nice hot shower with plenty of power. The a/c worked fine, and the motel was upfront on the rules at their motel regarding no smoking nor pets. They may have had a couple of smoking rooms, but I no longer recall and as a non smoker, the rules worked well for me. My room was actually very quiet in the evening and an excellent reservation for the price.
The Crown Inn Motel Yorktown is not a Ritz Carlton, Hilton or new Marriot, and you still get similar accommodations at a much lower price. The motel has some age but fresh paint and it was clean. For the price and my requirements for the one nights stay, it was the best residence for my stay; and I checked out a number of them on the web reviewing comments from others who stayed in the area.

Well, I like the hotel, but my only complaint was that there were no outlets near the bed. The bed was comfy. The bathroomwere clean.

No Ice nachine. Out of order. Very inconvenient. Would have stayed at another hitel if i knew there was no ice.
