This place is HELL, sorry I erased my photos of the room it just made me mad

Absolutely nothing, the room was absolutely disgusting needles laying around drug dealers outside cops in and out my god this was the worst place ever we ended up leaving 10 mins after checking in, and they refused us a refund this place needs shit down

Mold could be a huge issue

I just realized that there is mold in the bathroom behind the floor trim. Looks like black mold. I've been feeling sick the last few days and thinking it could be from that

Due to the unsafe, unsanitary, outdated accommodation, we were unable to stay.

Upon arrival, several individuals were complaining to the desk receptionist. This went on the entire time we were in the lobby with various individuals expressing complaints, concerns with booking and at least one young couple had their car towed while they were checking in. Our room was on the second floor, the elevator was disgusting, dirty and scary. In our room the toilet did not flush; toilet tank water was black and rusted. Several holes were [apparently] punched in bathroom walls. Floors were not clean, appliances outdated. The location and outdoor areas were a disaster; dirty, trash throughout and strange people smoking outside. Needless to say, we did not stay at HomeTown Studios. I was assured we would receive a full refund, including the $100.00 deposit. I have not received it as of today. Please advise.

the staff was nice but my car got towed and crackheads are out all hours of the night

Overall I have no major complaints.. everything was about average.

I wasn't bothered by housekeeping every single day, I just went to the office & traded out towels as necessary & as well as towel paper etc...

My room key stopped working a few different times throughout my stay so I had to go to the office every time to get it working again. If that had happened in the middle of the night I would have been screwed since there's no one in the office during from like 11 to 7 or so.. that would have been super crappy.

This place is for illegal drug users and prostitution The smelly cigarette smoke filled room, the old unwashed linens, mattress from the trash, pillows, dirty, thin prison blanket with 3 cigarette burns .The door had an opening, so I was able to see outside and outside was able to see in. I had to stuff a wash clothe in it. My towels had hair in them. Then, to top it off, I was awakened to fighting above me and a dog barking. I called the police and had to leave and sleep in my car at 1am in the morning. I felt safer in my car and at least my car was clean. I cancelled my reservation soon as I saw the room. There was this kid (female) in the office claiming to be the general manager she looked like she had just rolled out of bed with a rag tied on her head and house shoes on. She was rude, condescending, passive-aggressive, and abrupt even with the staff. She was rude to a customer who needed a key card replacement. Then I had to demand my deposit back. And now it's been almost a week, and I haven't gotten my refund. I am disgusted not only with Home Towne Studios but I am disgusted with Booking.com because they should have refunded my money immediately after I cancelled. I will NOT be recommending Booking.com or any Red Roof establishments. I will bad mouth both businesses every chance I get.

Pleasant

Room fixtures massively exceeded my expectations -- there was a big fridge in the room, and a stove. The fridge came in use. Value was probably the best in Denver that I found.

Far from downtown (40-50 minutes by bus, and Denver public transit is terrible). Rooms were dirty.

I didn't like anything about this stay and I do not plan on going back there

The first room I was given the door did not properly latch nor did it lock and so I was given a second room which upon walking in was dirty the bed had been used and there were no towels when I went to the staff to ask them for to fix it I wasn't giving it even clean linen until the following night and the office closed and there were no staff after asking the first time for the linens which is why I didn't get them until the following day

Cut short due to cleanlines. A massive regret!

Please. Do not stay here. The room was so dirty and the exterior looks like like a full on drug ring. After being re-roomed twice because of lack of cleanliness I decided to stay elsewhere. Reception said they would cancel my stay. They didn’t and I have been dealing with trying to get a refund for 2 weeks. I’m contesting the charge. Please, save yourself. Do not book this! Shame on booking.com for having a business relationship with them!

Refunding me after I cancelled! Dear god your cancellation policy is mind blowing my bad!

Well I just love the location because everything is like nearby like King Soopers Target the liquor store fast food places

I had a door that didn't lock so I had to prop it up with a chair to keep it locked for no one just walk on in my unit

For a quick trip to town it was the cheapesst and most convenient..

price for location. bed was actually comfortable

Really Spartan. Had to ask for trash can and blanket. Had to book through booking.com because the front desk said there were no rooms available.

Avoid if you can afford it.

Staff is friendly, location is great, walking distance to Target and King Soopers too. Best price in Denver. That's pretty much it not much to add.

The room hasn't been cleaned properly for years. Saw police most days I was there. Lots of drug related activity happening around. I was charged the holding deposit twice, but received only one back despite inquiring about it 3 times.

I’m satisfied with what I got for my money.

I feel like I got my money’s worth. I’ve seen better places, but I’ve also seen a lot worse places. I’m satisfied.

The common areas could have been a little cleaner. The stairwell kind of stank.

Nothing much.

I felt very unsafe here. People in parking lot looking through my window. Room looked like it was someone's house quickly converted to look like a motel, and smelling of bleach or something. Front desk person reminded me "There are no refunds ok?" out of nowhere. I have slept in cheap motels, hostels and even in train stations, so I am not picky. But this was too much for me. Within 5 minutes, I booked a room in a different place, took an uber and got out of here immediately.

It was the worst and the dirtiest "accommodation" that I have ever experienced!!!

The water was hot, but other than that, there was nothing to like. The cleanest thing was the wrapped cake of soap!

It was very- very dirty- did not appear to have been cleaned or maintained in a very long time - the outside was shabby as well. The lobby poster was the worst example of false advertising! It was not clean or comfortable - I had just driven for 10 hours, it was late, and I was too exhausted to look elsewhere, so I used Lysol wipes to clean the surfaces and the bathroom, and kept my shoes on. The water was hot, which cleaned the bathroom floor since the shower curtain was too short! The sheets appeared to be clean, but I did not sleep well. I at least thought to get coffee in the lobby in the morning, but was told to go to Starbucks. I did complain to the manager and asked for a refund, but received an email that only apologized and hoped that my next stay would be better - there will never be a next stay! If I purchase something and it is not what was promised, I expect a refund - A hotel stay is a purchase, and it is obvious that this one was not as promised - and I do expect a refund.
