Beautiful views of Lake Junaluska and the gardens are stunning.
There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Very convenient
A lot of cob webs outside the glass windows facing the lake

It is in a great location with wonderful views
The breakfast is not good, can be difficult to find parking. The rooms are very basic for such a lovely location of a hotel.

The location right on the lake across from the Conference Center cannot be beat.
The last several times I've stayed at the Terrace, my room has smelled strongly of mold. The last time, I even asked to change rooms because it was difficult to breath, and my eyes were watering from the smell. The room they moved me to was a tiny bit better, but it smelled like mold too. This has always been in the "back" rooms, facing away from the lake.
It's an old building, and likely has some structural problems that haven't been addressed. I will NOT stay there again.
