Not great, just ok. Has become tired over the years & not like it used to be.

Great location, close distance to Huntington Pier & Main Street. Able to hire nice cruiser bikes to travel around which was great fun. Handy to have the walk bridge to beach. Room was nice and big for the 3 of us to stay in with walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom with stand alone bath & separate shower. That was after we asked to pay for an upgrade as first room we were allocated wasn't great. The room we ended up in had a great view overlooking the water feature in the hotel and the beach.

Bedroom & bedsheets were very clean but bathroom/toilet was not cleaned properly, dust & other people's hair collecting in corners of toilet/bathroom. Our complimentary water was not replaced in the entire time we stayed there which was poor considering 2 bottles everyday were meant to be included in the amenities fees we paid. When we mentioned it to front desk they just offered to give us two bottles from them rather than address the situation and make sure it was resolved during our stay. So many private functions and sales conferences going on that sometimes certain areas/restaurants weren't available for us to use. Had we known that we wouldn't have booked to stay here as the cost is very high if the facilities aren't available. Guests staying beneath us constantly smoking on the balcony which wasn't pleasant when we wanted to sit on our balcony. We mentioned this to the hotel & they said they weren't allowed to smoke & said they would sort it. But unfortunately, the guests continued to smoke. It felt the hotel had lost the high standards we had received on previous trips. It is ok but I'd say its more of the standard of Hyatt Newport Beach now, mainly geared for standard business trips. Not the family hotel we have used it for before.

We had a wonderful time.

We had a King room with a full view of the ocean and it was beautiful. The only thing we missed was the actual sun setting. The building next to us was in the way of seeing the sunset. But when the sun set the sky was many beautiful colors. We really loved our room.

Fabulous except for lunch.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Excellent service. Loved the spa and room service.

The only restaurant open for lunch at the time was the main restaurant. There was no bartender working and the menu was VERY limited.

Nice for staying with little kids but not if you are looking for a luxurious stay

Little outdated rooms, food at the pool horrible, nonheakthy options at all, service inattentive, no fresh cocktails, (pina colada mix from a plastic bottle, loaded with sugar)

Stay here!

This resort is stunning. The quintessential California vacation. Even though I am a native, I felt like I was in some tropical exotic destination.

The food was a tad pricey, but that is not unexpected for a resort.

Exceptional

This was my second visit within 4 weeks. I just spent my 50th birthday there. I think I just found my new weekend getaway from Vegas.

The only thing that I didn't like and I wouldn't even say I didn't like, but I wish that the flat screens were on a swivel. It allows you to see the TV better when you have a bigger room with the separate seating area.

Very nice hotel

Hotel was amazingly comfortable and has beach access. Everything you need is right on site. Loved the concierge servive of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, sunscreen.

Had slight hassle at check in.

Really lovely!

Our room location was great and we had partial ocean view and view of pool. Pool was clean and lovely! Music vibe was great too.

We thought the bed was comfortable but we are sheet snobs. The sheets felt like paper- not soft at all.

Will definitely be back!

We had breakfast one morning and it was delicious. Restaurant was nice and clean, great view and the service was friendly and very fast.

Nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations. Hotel grounds were beautiful. We went for a wedding and said we’ll be back to enjoy more of the hotel fun!

Great place for a family break

The construction is low rise and very pleasant. The gardens are excellent and well maintained. The pool is very good and heated.

There was a lack of eating facilities and no bar.

overpriced

the pools and jacuzzi were beautiful

we had a massive cockroach in our hotel room that was crawling all around tv. our room was never cleaned while there, but our friends in the attached room had their room cleaned. we also were unable to use the coffee maker. I tried multiple things to make it work and it wouldn’t. the hotel was extremely overpriced. the room and restaurants were nowhere near worth the value. they need a low key lower priced option that is more of fast food and less expensive. free coffee, at least, or even better free breakfast with be much better.
