There was a dead cockroach on the stairwell. Beds r very uncomfortable

Very dissatisfied and overpriced for a non-handicap room as requested !!

Assistance from Staff upon arrival and departure due my disability.

I did Not receive a Handicap Room as requested 3 times. My room location required extensive walking. I walk with a cane due to severe knee pain. My room had a Very low non-handicap toilet which was extremely painful to use due to height & required pulling up by holding onto the sink. The bed mattress, obviously old, sloped.

We had an exceptional time at Unicoi and hope to go back

It was a lovely setting

Hard to get to rooms, had no elevator, there was no breakfast except for buffet which we didn’t want

Exceeded expectations for a state lodge.

Clean, comfortable, and a staff that was both pleasant and efficient, whether at the reception desk or either of the 2 spots for meals.

The lodge and location were awesome

The food at the lodge was not that good, but Helen is right down the road and there is a lot of good food to choose from.

Had a terrific time, enjoyed the outdoors!

Had plenty to do hiking there and the free shuttle was awesome. We parked and didn't use our car till we left. The shuttle drivers were very nice!

Only had buffet for breakfast. No ala cart options. If your not a big eater that was pricey.

overall , I would recommend and probably stay again

It was situated in a convenient location but still remote enough from the busy traffic

No elevator to get to 2nd floor with our luggage . Our door to hotel room had a 1/2” gap around it that you could see the light come through the main hallway.

Me an my fiancé needed a getaway! we definitely enjoyed ourselves an look forward to coming back to stay!

the location was great! the place was clean and relaxing! loved that we got to go fishing an enjoy our day outside around the parks!

Lodge and location were great but the front desk staff and restaurant staff need additional training and support.

Front desk staff was not knowledgeable, didn’t answer the phone, and the restaurant was overwhelmed. The restaurant did not have the advertised menu and the abbreviated menu had several items that they were out of. It took a very long time to get service and the food finally arrived about 75 minutes after we ordered.

The state park is beautiful but the facilities need more updating and freshening up. Great location

The breakfast buffet was good. The location was very good. The room was very clean and had a food view. The newly remodeled bathroom was very nice.

In general, the property needs TLC, fresh paint outside and probably a new roof. The interior common areas also need updating. The room could use some decorator items to make it more pleasant and more than one chair would be nice.

Awesome trails, food, location and staff! Would love to return.

Tavern and restaurant food/service was spot on. Both gentlemen where excellent!

A few things. The door was a little tricky to open. You really had to muster some strength to twist the handle all the way down to open the door. We found a pet roach and I chased it down to kill it. Room service never made our beds while we were out for the day. Very nice ladies though.

We always spend new years eve here they have an amazing party that day , the hotel have beautiful views and the food is amazing , i love it ! Defenitely will recommend

we came to town for OctoberFest in Helen. Our stay was short but we want to come back to visit. There was a complimentar

The room was simply decorated but clean and comfortable. The lodge is split into four buildings that shared an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit and area for eating / gathering. The bathroom was nice and water was hot!

the check in area smelled like cigarette smoke and the parking situation was confusing at first.
