Charges before arrival

The hotel lady was very friendly and very helpful.

The fact that my card was charged before arrival and the hotel had no records of it being charged and they tried to charge my card for a second charge the following day

Breakfast was good.

We got blamed for other people's dogs barking. We got a phone call from the front desk saying our dogs were barking and it was the room next door dogs barking.

Okoboji Ramada

Breakfast was good.

Front desk gal at check in was rude, there was mold in the shower. Overall the hotel is dated and old. Also no elevator to bring bags upstairs. I understand that Okoboji in the summer is busy but this was way over priced considering the amenities.

The staff was very friendly. The location was clean. It was suitable for a one night stay

Disappointing

Paid $295 for a queen room, there was no parking due to poor snow removal. Wasn't enough room to even park in the hotel lot.

if the loiterers weren’t hanging out it would have been a great stay

Sid was very accommodating and welcoming. very friendly

there seemed to be a group of extended stay people who were smoking pot and drinking outside of the facility and were always loitering - was a bit uncomfortable

It was ok as we basically just slept there.

Beds were comfortable

Someone was cooking fish in a nearby room. Smell was horrible. Hot tub wasn’t working.

The bed and bedding was so comfortable and the hotel was clean.

Two things, the shower curtain was torn from the rings. There was a big stain on the desk chair.

I guess the price was ok considering it was close to Okoboji, but it needs some care.

Location was very good, staff was great. Coffee was very good and available all the time.

Breakfast not so great. Scrambled eggs weren't real eggs...not sure what. Biscuits for biscuits and gravy didn't look or taste like real or canned even. Ground up cardboard came to mind. Pool water wasn't clear and clean looking at all. Room carpet probably needed a thorough shampooing, grungy looking even though it was dark colored. Weeds all over the place outside, made the place look third rate.

good location, friendly staff, good breakfast.

very stingy with towels & washcloths. we had 4 people in our room & they would only leave 2-3 towels each day. we always had to go. to the desk for more.

The breakfast attendee would not talk when you asked him questions. The pool was nice and the room was clean, minus the mold in the bathroom 🤢 Overall would stay again.

Blood on the sheets at the foot of the bed. Of course they changed them but I was told they would comp the room. Not only did the manager NOT comp the room but he wasn't even professional enough to call me. He made the morning staff deal with after I EXPRESSLY said I wanted to talk to the MANAGER.

Quite dirty and very unkept rooms. The shower curtain was smeared with some substance that could have been cleaned off before the next guests arrived. We had to ask for towels, hangers, basic toiletries like soap, etc. We had to ask for anything to be cleaned during our stay, which lasted more than a week. Emails and questions were often left unanswered. The breakfast was handled in a very petty-minded way. Breakfast went until 9am, and we were just finishing up our final breakfast items at 8.59 (no joke). They shut the power off for the machines and we couldn’t finish our items. And, and, and

The shower & bath areas were clean

Was suppose to be a non smoking room , could smell cigarette smoke when entering room . No elevator ( didn't see that noted ) breakfast was lacking with waffle batter running out , other items almost gone . No one monitoring food to keep filled during breakfast. Pool area is dingy , needs attention with paint etc. For the money it should be better . Had to ask for more towels on second day .
