Clear communication for check-in, how to access keys. Immediately upon arrival, host came over to greet me. The Carriage house is spacious - living room, kitchen, dining room, large upstairs master bedroom with window seats, second bedroom area with two single beds. There is a full bathroom upstairs and another downstairs. The house was very clean, nicely decorated with country charm. The house sits in a quiet residential area close to Mt. Pleasant, Greensburg is not a far drive, and the lovely forests and ridge lines of western PA are all around you. If interested in UFO lore, the site of the Kecksburg UFO crash is a short drive away on Meteor Road and the firehouse with a mockup of the alleged UFO is also close by. Don't miss Polymath Park (4 houses associated to Frank Lloyd Wright, 2 he designed, 2 his student designed) saved, moved, and restored from other locations and now all sitting in a lovely spot in the hills. There is also a very nice restaurant on the property. Fallingwater, a Wright house and UNESCO site, is also close by. Great house, great location.

The cottage is one of the most charming places I've ever stayed. It was easy to find, was super clean, all amenities were provided, and the owner was very nice.

The location was perfect as two friends and I had a wedding to attend that was 4 min away from the house. The location made it easy for travel and it was also close to restaurants as we all worked late and needed a quick bite to eat after checking in. It was such a cute little spot that is worth staying at if you need a place for a weekend event. The host was very kind and was able to accommodate a last minute change in our reservation.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was great to have a little kitchen to cook breakfast and the sleeping arrangement was perfect for the three of us.

The cottage is so quaint and in a lovely landscape. It's obvious the owner has taken a lot of care with her property, not just the cottage but her home, garden and surrounding land. It's really lovely. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, and well-appointed. The full size bed is super comfortable, I slept great. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable the cottage was, I highly recommend if you need a nice, safe, clean place to stay in Mt. Pleasant.
I would really have to search for something I didn't like. I can't think of anything.
