I was there for the funeral of my husband. Loved the view room 503. Bed was comfortable. Loved posted quiet times. Cleaning staff was respectful of my privacy and even hung "do not disturb" on my door.
Pillows were not comfortable. Smell of smoke coming from neighbor into the bathroom.

After a mix up through another rental cancellation, the phoenix hotel took us in the same day, which is a blessing in itself. It was great for a last minute stay. If I ever need a place to stay and don’t know where to go this is a Good spot.
We had troubles with connecting Wi-Fi but, still had great cell service.

Hotel location offers nice views over Manhathan and is close to the water, in between the Sunset park and the Green-Wood cemetery. Room was decently sized and with a bathtub.
It was noisy over nights. Cleaning once came early in the morning and made lots of noise in the holloways.
