There is art throughout the hotel and that is very enjoyable. The location is good. The room was comfortable.
This is not a luxury hotel; we were looking for a luxury hotel and paid for a luxury hotel. In reality, we found ourselves in a comfortable hotel with a number of tacky, sometimes unacceptable features. The in-room refrigerator was extremely noisy and resting on 3 legs; which means, it would not open (or close) unless you tilted it. We ended up turning it off because of the noise. The a/c filter housing was just hanging, not closed. The furniture was ordinary. Access to the pool required a room key; more irritating, leaving the pool area also required a room key. Why? Is the hotel so poorly secured? There is no fan in the bathroom; no air circulation. We used the valley parking (~$40 per night); the process is very inconvenient and we got stuck waiting for staff to move cars upon arrival and leaving. There is no number to call on the claim check; you need to go through the front desk.
