Staff were friendly. The cleanliness of the room was descent. Food is always good, especially the service and quick delivery service to your room. Very well organized. The pool section was very nice and clean. Super friendly staff checking on you and asking if you need anything.
What I didn’t like was the size of the room for two queen size beds. It was too small for four people. We’ve stayed at the Willow section before and that was 100% satisfyingly. This last time we stayed in the old section of the Resort and the bathroom smelled like sewer. That was my first experience as we walked in the room. We love Viejas Casino but I don’t think it was worth my money on the room. I did ask for ADA access but that should not be the case. Please check with a plumber. I did call it in and spoke to a manager and she recommended a plumber. I declined because we noticed that as soon as the water runs through the plumbing the smell goes away. So this is a plumbing issue and should be checked when no water is running. This was 2nd floor room #255.
