It was very quaint and very well maintained.
The noise from the Avenue.

The beds were super comfy and the rooms spacious. The location is away from the main hustle and bustle, we walked to the French quarter in 45mins, although the tram stop is right outside the hotel so you could just hop on that. The roof top bar was lovely for watching the sunset.
The decor is quirky and unique but I think it is masking some areas that need to be revamped. The carpets in our room were torn in quite a few areas and there was quite a thick layer of dust on light fittings etc. Thought the valet parking was expensive (it is a similar price to those directly in the frenc quarter). I would choose a different hotel next time if I were to return to New Orleans.
