The location is very private and away from everything else. The facilities were exceptional, especially the common kitchen.
The restaurant is a MUST for anyone hungry! Superb food, good prices and great service.
It wasn’t very accessible by foot. From the bus stop I had to walk 10-13 minutes in the dark with all of my luggage.

The facility is nice, the restaurant to eat is convinient, close to Merced River where my family was camping and close to Yosemeti. The tents are nice, but If you are needing not to go up and down many steps to get to one, let them know ahead of time because it can be a hike to some of them and if you need to go to the bathroom late at night, a long hike down.
We arrived late, after 11pm so the key to the room was left for us with a paper that had the map.
We had a tent so it was hard to find it at night and when we did, it was the wrong key. The paper/map did not have an emergency number on it so we spent from 11:30 at night to 2am looking for the tent and leaving voice mails on the office phone, which no one answered because there is no one there after hours. Later we walked back to the office just to see if there was a number there, and there was an emergency phone on the door; I recommended leaving that emergency phone on the paper given to guests with the map of the facility in case of an emergency. If you are going to arrive late, I recommend calling ahead of time for some verbal instructions as to where your cabin or tent is or making sure that you have that emergency phone number handy.
