A few things were okay: complimentary coffee, and hot and cold water available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is also very close to vibrant Main Street and the subway station, making it easy to get around on foot. The US Open courts are also very nearby.
The room was unfortunately not what I had expected based on the description. It was not sufficiently clear during the booking process that the room had no window, which I found quite difficult.
The bathroom layout was also challenging for me, as the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom. I appreciate that this may be a matter of different expectations. However, combined with the lack of a window, the room felt rather enclosed.
This is not really a question of price or value for money. I would simply recommend making especially the lack of a window much more explicit in the booking information, so that guests can make an informed choice before booking.
