The staff and the service was really great. Manager guy very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. I will highly recommend. The hotel itself is old. But it's clean.

Room was missing items such as body wash and staff did not respond to several messages. Breakfast was okay but pancake machine was making them too light.
The location is ghetto and they charge for parking. The entire area charges for parking when location is very poor with lots of homeless people.

The first night we were there. My youngest looked at me and said, dad. This is a 5 star stay. So if it's 5 stars for my kid, then it's 5 stars for me. They had an absolute blast. All of my kids loved the pool and the staff and the room they were all amazing to all of us. My car battery died, and they did what they could to help me out if I go back to kona, when I go back to kona, I'll be staying there
The beds were a little firm for me.And one of my kids, but the other three said they suck just fine.So that's just a matter of preference

Nice central location. Was convenient to have a gym in building as well as ice machines
The shower curtain in the bathroom smelled like it was wet and unable to dry
