Room was kept clean, beds were comfortable, adequate parking, not very noisy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Some of the furnishings are a little bit old. Key stuck in lock and was hard to remove

Views at sunset are really nice.
Rooms are older, restroom in our room was updated. Ice machine has seen better days, doesnt make ice fast enough which wouldnt be a big problem if they had a fridge. Rooms do have an ac unit which was pretty effective.

The property is a simple motel but they have ensured that the place is clean and all amenities work perfectly.
We booked the room with AC, Refrigerator and Microwave and all worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable.
Few things that make this simple motel amazing-
1. Awesome view of mono lake
2. Well maintained property, everything is basic but works like a charm
3. Really helpful staff who was just lovely
4. Coffee maker and coffee available
5. Even if you do not have a room with view they have decks facing the lake with a nice open view
6. Restaurants and super market right opposite the property
7. Gas station right next to the property
8. 30 mins drive from the east gate of Yosemite
Let me reiterate , it’s a simple basic motel but it just works on all factors. It’s great value.

I liked the view.
I didn’t care for the slider as the only way into the room. Although it did allow to see the great view of Mono Lake.
