Nice updated rooms with fridge and microwave.
Office hours are a bit odd. Closed from 2 to 3 which would have snagged me except
a caretaker got me the room key before check-in. Also closed before 9 am.
Prices are better than average.
Door key fell apart several times. Was able to squeeze it back together on holder.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I found that I had made a reservation for the following day, not when I intended. But they were willing to give me the family-sized room (apparently the last room available) for the same price. Thanks, Nicole! The motel is obviously family oriented, with outdoor seating areas. The room was a bit old, but very clean. On the eaves outside my room door was a nest of barn swallows with fledglings. What a treat! The owners had put up a fixture to catch the bird droppings rather than discouraging the birds from nesting there.
The wall air conditioner was old, and there was a note asking that the temperature not be set to the lowest temperature setting. I guess it would overwork the AC unit. The thermostat for the wall gas furnace was turned off, but the furnace was still putting out heat, more than one would expect from a pilot light. In the winter, this would not be a problem but in the summer it is combating that old air conditioner. Finally, the diverter valve in the shower did not work. Only a small amount of the water flow could be diverted to the shower head, while most of the water flowed directly into the tub. If I had a few minutes and my tool kit, I could have addressed the problem easily. I would have reported this problem when we checked out, but we left early in the morning before the office was open.

Well located, quiet, had a place to walk my dogs. They provided a sheet to cover where the dogs would sleep. They have a screen for the front door.
Dated, could use a refresh, bathroom was a bit small.
