My niece and I did a girls weekend for her birthday. The person who checked us in was amazing! So nice and personable.

The guy/owner who checked us in was amazing! Not sure what his name was but so personable. He mad us laugh, he was great!

I’m not complaining because our room was Sooooo cute! But their was hair on the sink and shower from previous people who stayed. There were a few cobwebs in our room. And the coffee pot in our room was not cleaned out.

Conveniently located, but needs an update.

Hotel centrally located, short walk to everything. Fire pit and pool were nice touches. The lady at the front desk was sweet and helpful.

Property needs updating. Beds were uncomfortable. Headboards were attached to the wall using a small ledge, no screws. There was no towels I. Our room when we arrived (3 1/2 hrs after check in time)

1. Ice machine broken. 2 We arrived entered the room it smelled musty and moldy. Room could have been a little cleaner. The ceiling over the shower had mold. I took photos . I think they could have afforded a new toliet bowl brush it was rusted and dirty. This could have been a beautiful setting it just needs updated one room at a time. The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in room 405.

you get what you pay for.

it was within walking distance to the village and the fire pit was a nice touch.

there were way too many updates needed too many repairs needed to even count. There were so many cobwebs. It is severely outdated, and could use some love and attention to say the least. All of the bad options were insanely uncomfortable.

Solid stay and a good value for a quick weekend trip with friends!

Lodge is within walking distance to the Main Street. Close to some decent food spots and bars.

Night stand lamp was broken when we arrived. Looked like the cleaners just propped it up against the wall to hide it.

Staff was friendly and great! Loved the fireplace in the king suite. Great touch. Loved the large table too.

Room ceiling needed repair and bathroom tile job needed help.

Very comfortable stay in the summer in ski country

Room was large and comfortable. The pool was awesome and we were in walking distance to downtown Ellicottville which was perfect for us.

Wonderful stay! Comfortable with a huge bathroom with a large tub

cute spot! loved the fire pit and hanging around it in the evening

The breakfast was minimal. It offered prepackaged bagels and muffins and the coffee maker was out for service.

It was very pleasant

It is a cozy motel, it was very clean and quiet. The room decor is a little outdated and nothing matches but I get it that not everyone is an interior designer. Bed was comfortable, heat and AC worked great, bathroom was very clean and room smelled good. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Parking was relatively close to our room. It was a very short but nice stay… owner was very nice and helped me carry my baggage into my room. We slept in a missed breakfast 😔

That there wasn’t any restaurants / pubs close by that served food after 10pm. We were hungry!

trip was great, room not so much.

the lodge is super convenient to all of Ellicottville and surrounding area attractions. the cottage’s linens and bathroom were very clean

the cottage needs a lot of TLC. broken tiles in the bathroom floor were loose. broken floor tiles leading into the bath and covered with a throw rug. carpet frayed and coming up at the entrance, again covered with a throw rug, because the staples are sticking out. Worst was the ceiling, which has black stuff in the high creases, and with the change in weather, we had plaster falling on the bed and floor. some mildew/mold on the plaster.
