Great value for your money with an awesome staff that aims to please. The location is awesome as well for what you pay.

Our room was renovated nicely with a BIG smart tv in the living room, and the location is great for the outdoors type family or anyone with plans to go to Silver Dollar City

When you first pull up it has an old motel vibe but the remodeled insides and awesome staff make up for it

This place is a hidden gem! Will definitely recommend to others!!!

These are some of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in!!! I have a habit of always checking rooms before unloading the kids and let me tell you not only did it smell fresh but this room was spotless! Clean beds. They had bed bug protectors on pillows and mattresses!! And yes I look all around. I even checked in cabinets and behind the toilet, in sink, toilet,tub etc…. They provided us with extra blankets and towels at request which was nice considering we are a family of 6. The owners live on site and they come with a super sweet golden retriever! They have an outdoor patio and stayed up with us for hours just chatting away! The pool was clean and deep! Even had some pool toys to play with! They had huge tvs and cable And even had a large selection of dvds in the office. There is a small play set and a convenience store right across the road. It’s quiet and peaceful in this area at night. I was actually pretty sad the owners weren’t in the building when we checked out bc I was looking forward to thanking them and saying our goodbyes!!! They provide Grills and cute outdoor furniture indoors and out!!! This is a very cute place and the owners are amazing!!! We will definitely recommend to others!!!!! If your planning on staying here bc you want to have quick access to the lake you can forget about it! Their is no land around this area that isn’t private property. We couldn’t find any trails and they won’t even let u access the beach without paying first!…The only complaint I have about this particular room #3 is the bathrooms are very small. And practically have to step into the bath tub to shut door behind you or even get dressed. Would not be idea for a larger person. And our room had connecting rooms to #4 and I’ll just say if you like peace and quiet than I wouldn’t choose this room. If u like to sleep in or don’t want to hear ur neighbors babies crying at 7am I would maybe suggest a different type of room. Our kids sleep in and we were not able to sleep in bc the bed was right next to the conjoined door and we could hear their baby crying which in turn woke all of us up! All 3 nights which was very disappointing. Their was a family who rented the room upstairs for themselves and left the child in the room downstairs! Very annoying and frustrating in my opinion! I would also like to add that the water here is boiling hot! Like it burns the skin off your fingers. We had to turn off the hot water underneath the sink to avoid our two year old from burning herself! Maybe they can just turn down the water heater temperature. The playground was a little rough. Parts of the slide and wood had loose bolts and plastic sticking up which made it kind of sketch for my 2 year old. Also they should add some gravel or sand under swing-set bc it was just full of mud.. oh and they do not provide pool towels but they had some for sale in the office for 6 dollars but they were full size towels so it was a fair price.

I would stay here again.

This is an older hotel not a brand new resort. It is at the bottom of a winding road, not the top. It does not have fancy views. It does not come with breakfast. It is just a 5 minute walk to a quiet fishing spot and comes with a well-equipped kitchenette. The price was also great, especially when compared to other hotels closer to Branson. The pool was old but the water was cool in the middle of 100 degree days in July. I think this is because it was deeper (8 or 9 feet) compared to the 3-5 foot pools at other hotels in the area. I would stay here again.

About as expected

The bed was great. The room was about to be expected for a regular hotel room, but a little more than I would normally pay.

The fact that there was only an apartment size fridge was tough being at the lake. Parking was extremely tight and it seemed like the well water was in need of treatment as you could smell it if the water ran for more than a few seconds.

My family had a very relaxing weekend here! The owners are great people who work hard to make this place nice. Felt very comfortable the entire time, the location is perfect (right across the street from the marina), the little mart across the street came in handy for extra food and special ice cream treats for the kids. The owner did not mind at all, and even encouraged, my daughters to decorate the parking lot with sidewalk chalk :) And Hunter, the golden retriever, was a huge hit! Thank you for the hospitality.

We loved it there.

The owner Mike went above and beyond for us. He told us of a good place to eat for breakfast and it was really really good. The resort was very very clean and you could tell everything has been very well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay. This is where we will be staying from now on.

Owners were very nice, but room left a lot to be desired.

No breakfast; location was great next to Silver Dollar City but away from downtown Branson and the strip

The light that didn't have a plug; the air conditioner was in the living room area and none in the bedrooms. 2 small bedrooms but only one bath that was small. 2 couches but one underneath the TV so could not sit on couch and watch TV. The kitchen tablecloth had something on it from the last occupant.

Best Branson Stay experience ever

We come to Branson 2 or 3 times a year and usually stay at the same places but this time we decided something different and glad we made that choice! This place is by FAR the best we have experienced! Mike and his Wife who are the onsite owners treat you like they're your own. My daughter was playing on the playground swing and fell off and got more scared than hurt..but they seen it happen and left her a surprise for when she went back so she would feel better about it and not be afraid..Couldn't have asked for a better time or a better place to stay! Lots to do around you, lake access, and great restaurants/bars with live music.. even golf carts to rent to rome around Indian point right across the street. 110% would recommend to anyone. Kitchenette room was awesome, plenty of room for my family of 4! 50 inch tv with all the channels you need including sports! Also DVDs In the office for your movie needs. Cant wait to go back! We will be going here every time from here on out!

HFR is very close to SDC, QUIET, Mike the owner was very friendly and helpful, and there’s a swing set the kids enjoyed! The kitchenette stovetop was state of the art.

If you’re from the country, the well water won’t bother you much. If you’re used to city water, take drinking water bottles.
