This was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay for our anniversary weekend

The fresh breakfast each morning, the cheerful employees, the clean and comfortable rooms, and the peaceful koi pond were all wonderful aspects of our stay.

The check in process was a little slow because check-in doesn't begin until 4 PM and there was only one worker helping people. It could have helped to either begin check-in a little earlier and/or have another person helping guests.

Very nice, quite, relaxing place to stay if you don’t mind a few small irrigation like squeaky floor and old style showe

I really liked the pond and secret garden. Staff very kind and polite. Breakfast was very good. Very quite escape.

Even though the room had been “Face lifted” our room still screamed “1950’s motel” shower was very dated. Floor made noises when walking on. Vinyl flooring was installed without underlaying. Pulled back bed and found a long black hair. I expect better when paying nearly $250 per night.

The location was convenient and I like being able to park outside my room. Checking person was very nice and helpful.

I wanted a real breakfast...not just yogurt and granola.

The facilities are old, but well-maintained, so it feels like a vintage motel rather than like an old motel.

Very large room, quiet location and comfortable.

Noisy heaters, no more cooked omelette breakfast like they used to have.

It was a hopping off point for the ferry and couldn't have been better.

Breakfast was excellent, as was the hospitality of the staff.

Very nice restful sleep

I love the little garden with the koi pond . I wish the pond had lights in it so you could see the koi better at night. Very clean place, cute room , I wished that the rooms had refrigerators, microwave ovens. ,maybe a fee more lights in the garden.

I would definitely stay again!

Staff was exceptional. This is a small family run facility. Nothing corporate here. Rooms are nice enough, small bathroom, but everything necessary. Loved the koi pond and the deck! Breakfast was very nice, delicious both days. If ever in Ludington again I would stay at Summer's Inn.

I walked around the room barefoot and my feet were dirty from the floor. Looking clean and being clean are not the same.

It was everything the website said it was..

loved the private garden area. the king sized bed was huge!!

the chairs. wicker chairs belong on a porch/ deck not as seating in your room. bathroom was small ( which we knew from the website) and dated. breakfast was very good but could use some imagination..

Disappointed except for the breakfast

The breakfast was excellent, finding it was easy, it was nice not have any crying children. There was no clock or phone in the room. It is basically an old motel that was fixed up to be a B and B. I was expecting a house that was changed into B and B. Which it looked like from the picture.

My stay was wonderful there we celebrated our 1st anniversary

The inn was a beautiful place. The grounds were very well taken care of. The breakfast in the morning was good. The room I stayed in was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. So quiet and relaxing

Good

Loved the location of this inn, within walking distance to the downtown area, the beach is super close too. I really liked the private entrance each room had as well as the kitchenette area my room had. The koi pond and outside lounge area were amazing. The idea of breakfast being made each morning is phenomenal, just needs some work on the execution of it.

Beds are the most firm mattress I've ever felt, not unbearable though. Breakfast options were limited, though the yogurt and granola was great. The tv didn't work when I arrived but manager was amazing, he fixed the problem himself after a few attempts. Parking is a little tight for larger trucks. Price was a little expensive for what it was.
