Great two night stay next to the river in Buena Vista!

Great location on the river and a short walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shops. They have a nice restaurant and bar within the hotel too.

Sophisticated elegance in BV!

The Surf Hotel is one of the most stunning boutique properties I have ever stayed at. It is beautifully designed and appointed, comfortable, and has breathtaking views and facilities. The cherry on top is Wesley & Rose… just a simply fabulous happy hour with divine food & cocktails in an elevated space. I cannot wait to go back, and will share my experience with family and friends.

really nice hotel next to the river

lovely location next to the river in a quiet part of town, good bar, decent rooms well equipped

hmm had to unplug fridge as noisy and one of the beds was a creaker!

Nice enough room, unfortunately loud heater, would not want to stay if an event was going on at the location. value was

beautiful grounds, room equipped with basics needed for stay including nespresso

the heater in the room was so loud and squeaky we kept it turned off in order to sleep, which was unfortunate because it was very cold outside. For the marketing and cost the room details didn’t quite fit the vibe and it seemed a little over priced for what it actually was, especially given the terrible heater.

Minimalistic, small room, warm, location great but expensive. Will not stay here again.

Location on Arkansas river with hiking trail right outside the hotel. Room was warm but heater was noisy. Bed and linens comfortable. Shower was wonderful. Heater in bathroom. Big tv. Mini fridge and coffee pot. Hallway quiet.

Minimalistic Small Room on second floor that cost $199 a night . Small courtyard outside our window. Across courtyard was the smokestack from fireplace in lobby on ground floor. Top of smokestack was even with our window so our room smelled like campfire . Smokestack needs to be taller. Fireplace in lobby not accessible to all people. They had two couches and a table directly in front of fireplace. They could have moved the furniture so that people could stand in front of fireplace to warm up. It was freezing outside. Restaurant seating was part of lobby with the bar so people were eating at the table in front of fireplace . Very narrow and crowded when coming and going from hotel. Restaurant had its own entrance but it was also crowded with people standing and it was cold everytime someone opened the door. We had people standing over us as we ate our food. Had to parallel park on street. There was a small parking lot behind hotel but it was dirt and rocks and no lights at night. Hotel staff never looked up from computers to smile or greet you as you came and went by them. We were there two nights and three days and no housekeeping.if this had been a hostel and only cost 80$ a night then I wouldn’t have expected more. For $199 a night there wasn’t anything that makes we want to stay here again or recommend to friends.

Excellent room, right by the river, fun for the whole family including our cat

I loved that the cottage was pet firendly. The size of the room was great, the amenities were exceptional. the room had everything we needed.

They could stay open at the restaurant or at least the bar a little longer. Thankfully we were prepared and had bought a bottle of wine. but our second night there if the bar had not closed at 9 we would have hung out and consumed more.

Overall a good stay

Really nice boutique hotel. Staff were all great. The rooms are just as pictured on the website. The restaurant is only open 4 to10, but we had good service. We only had coffee and dessert, the portion seemed small for the price.

We had a second floor room and there is no elevator so we had to drag our luggage up a steep flight of stairs. The bathroom has a very small sink area. The room overall is small. There is not much closet space.
