The room size
They never clean my room during my 3 week stay.also the housekeepers never changed the bottom bed covers I watch them the hole time I spent there so all the new customers think they have a fully clean room and it's no front desk is going to make changes to you Bank card that's on file be careful they don't respect Black people the Hispanic lady that runs the breakfast is very rude to Blacks I will never stay here again

We saw the room and immediately left. Started feeling sick in there within minutes of entering. There was pee, feces, and blood all over the room. There was poop on the "clean" washcloth on the shower, on the mattress, on the floor. Strange substance on the couch. Strange sickening smell and a sign that said there is pee on my bed on the door. Person at the front Said there were no better rooms and they all looked like that.

The hotel has old dated features with a mildew smell. There was only one front desk attendant in which it took longer to check in. One out of two elevators was working. We had to wait 3 -5 minutes for the elevator and had to share it with the workers who pushed a spoiled laundry cart that smells horrible for the entire ride. The elevator has grafitti on the walls and stain carpet. With one working elevator that stops on every floor.
The hallway is very dark and smells musty that carries right into my room with old dated furniture with stains on the couch and carpet. There's holes in the wall and missing lock on the connect share door. The refrigerator did not work. The bathroom had hair in the shower with a black mildew grout. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. There was a graffiti white paint circle on the back of the brown bathroom door. The TV had an old dated intercom system with outlets that did not work. The major issue was roaches in the bathroom and on the wall behind the TV. That was my sign to check out early at 5am.
During my stay, there were some young guys hanging out on the parking lot fixing cars and playing loud music. I didn't feel safe coming in and out of the hotel.
There's trash on the parking lot and a lot of traffic going in and out.
This animal friendly hotel/motel needs to make sure the droppings are picked up.

Let me start by saying that it took us 2 hrs to get settled into our room. We got our keys went up to the room and tried to use it to unlock the door but they did not work. Had to go back down to the front desk for them to reactive the room keys only to get in the room and the TV not working. Back to the front desk once again. They did try to repair the TV but were unsuccessful so they moved us to another room. Then the process started again, the front desk, tried the key to the new room, didn't work, The front desk, reactivated the key, and backed up. Let me not forget with all this back in forth, only one elevator was working. it was so frustrating
Then woke up the next morning what did we see. a roach.. I was over it by then
I will not stay at this hotel again

For a last minute pick, it was fairly cheap, the room was very spacious, and the location was convenient.
Front desk staff tried to rush me through signing a document while I was reading it. I've never had to sign a form to stay at a hotel. Then, he had me guess my room number and the wifi password, which was basically written in code rather than just telling me. He was friendly, but it was annoying. The halls were dim, smelled bad, and the doors were all dinged up. Also, my room was nonsmoking but smelled like a freshly lit cigarette, and the comforter had a cigarette burn. The phone in the room had no cord to plug into the wall. It was just there for decoration. The light in the vanity area took a solid minute or two to brighten up, so I had to turn it on and then go do something else. The tissue roll was missing the piece that held it in place, so I had to take it off and manually unroll the tissue. There was also what looked like bloody boogers toward the top of my shower, and I'm tall, so it was very visible to me, but maybe not someone short. They also filled the shampoo, body wash, and conditioner with shampoo. I tried to use the conditioner and it had a lather so I looked into the bottles from the side and you could see at the top where the liquid was a cream color, but at the bottom where it was pumping from, they all had the green shampoo color. Lastly, the TV had EXTREMELY limited channels; a couple of which did not have sound. I wouldn't stay there again regardless of the price.

The room was very spacious with a nice sofa and seating area separate from the sleeping area. The hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable. We were in town for a concert at the Gas South Arena. The drive to the arena was super easy and quick and there were a lot of good restaurants in the area. The Duluth area had all the conveniences but still had a small-town vibe.
There was a dirty towel from the previous guest left in the bathroom. Overall the room, especially the bathroom, needed to be deep cleaned. It was a short stay so didn't even bother the staff but it was very unpleasant and felt uncomfortable sleeping on the sheets because if the staff can't even clean up a dirty towel lying out in the open like that they probably aren't cleaning the sheets well or doing detailed cleaning. Luckily we brought disposable sheets.

I came to this hotel for a mental health break and it just made everything worse. Lights weren’t working smell of mold, shower, overflowing worst experience ever.

The location was great
The TV was not working at all and the fire alarm went off randomly. I called about the TV and nobody came to fix it. The first room I was given the key didn’t work instead of the front desk going to open the door they switched rooms. The floor was dirty in the room. And the beds were not clean. I always rave about Sonesta but I will never again stay at this Sonesta.

Lady reported bug a gnat in the orange juice pitcher and I saw it too and the lady took it and put it up on a shelf then went got a spoon took the bug out returned the bug infested juice to the back to serving area that was when I decided to or book there anymore plus the other day I believe I swallowed a gnat while drinking the juice so mystery was solved when I saw that my last day there disgusting plus it roaches in the room saw first day on the ceiling

I got the room 323 , that room need to be fix . everything is breaking down apart . shower , toilet …., the water is leaking from the bathroom floor through the carpet . I think it been like
that for a while but no body pay attention to it . when the carpet is wet like that it will cause mold . hopefully they will fix that room .

front lobby inside looks beautiful, but that’s the catch , I was on the 6th floor with my mother and my 2 kids , before I parked to go check in there was TWO drug dealing transactions made 2 parking spots beside me , go check in ect. room was clean , but there cable isn’t good , literally couldn’t watching anything . coffee maker didn’t work , they don’t serve no breakfast btw . also no pool . our bathroom trash can was stuck to another trash can rat was in our room. no trash bags to replace it. I am COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED WITH MY STAY

Indian guy at the front desk was pushy and rude. Took forever for someone to come check us in and we never got the sheets for the pullout bed like we requested.

Only certain channels worked on the television and half of them were blurry. I assume this is WIFI, as regular cable should be clear. Also, the water in the "bathroom" sink did not get hot, I had to use either the shower or the kitchenette kitchen if I needed hot water.

The entire staff is amazing and very caring... Joseline is the best and very attentive... Everyone that works here is a real pleasure.

Free Parking
The front desk lady that I attended to me does not have a good customer attitude. She gave me a room on the first floor next to the exit door to the back behind the breakfast area. I told her I needed another room, I didn't like staying on the first floor. She told me if I wanted to cancel my reservation, I could cancel it and that all their room upstairs had dogs because their hotel is pet friendly, and I would even see a lot walking around in the hallway.
In-room 210, where I stayed, there were some children's clothes in the corner of the room closet; if the room was well cleaned, those things should have been removed. This was my first time lodging in that hotel and will be the last,

My duvet was full of black mold. The carpet in front of the bathroom was wet when we got there. It smelt like mold. They refused to give me a refund and also said the mold was feathers in side the blanket
